Meet the CEO and Founder Prince Mapp

Four years later, I was headed to state prison to serve an 18-year sentence for making terrible decisions.

At that point, I had lived 20 years on earth, and half of that was the worst version of myself. I lacked any respect for community, people, or life itself. There was a moment while in prison where I became disgusted with my life. I knew that I could do better. I knew that there was a better version of myself.

I decided to complete my education and eventually enrolling in college where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management & Leadership with 3.78 GPA.

After being released from prison he worked as a Violence Interrupter in the same community I helped destroy.

Today Prince is an engineer at a NYC tech startup, a company whose mission is to make the world a better place. “As humans we are similar in so many ways, we laugh, we cry, we struggle. However, our journeys are our own and where we end up is solely up to us. We are not the same.”

Embrace it. Live it. Be it. Blk Sqaures.
